The dynamic requirements of the truck and equipment installer demands flexibility in their business system. Being able to quote custom installation work and estimate the parts and labor required calls for a shop work order system that can deliver these requirements efficiently. AutoPower System provides master kitting of installation assemblies, labor tracking, special orders for parts as well as complete job costing for profitability control. As special orders dominate the equipment installation shop, each special order PO is associated with the original shop work order to ensure accurate costing of the job.

Once an installation quote has been approved, the quote can be turned into a work order easily and submitted to the shop to commence the work. The parts required are listed for picking from inventory, special order POs can be released and any labor require will be tracked until completion. After the job is completed then the invoiced is automatically prepared for billing.

History of all work orders completed can be reviewed as templates for new quotes or jobs thus reducing the amount of research time when constructing a new quote for similar work that's already been completed.
