Leased Lines

Leased lines are most cost-effective if your daily usage exceeds four to six hours. Leased lines offer predictable throughput with bandwidth typically 56 Kbps to 1.544 Mbps. They require one connection per physical interface (namely, a synchronous serial port).

BellSouth N x T1 Internet Access Service is an end-to-end solution offered as a Packaged Service.

§ Uses the underlying BellSouth Frame Relay Internet Access service infrastructure to provide a multiple DS1 circuit connection between the BMF and the customer premise location.

§ Bandwidth selectable is DS1 increments (1.536 Mbps). This allows customers to match Internet access capabilities precisely to their current requirements and still supports easy expansion of capabilities as needs increase.

§ DS1 circuits are available at the full DS1 port speeds. Includes full CIR (Committed Information Rate) on each full DS1 circuit.
